Project 003. Brain table

I was invited to participate in a furniture exhibition at Gallery Doktor Glas [sic]
where the theme was recycling. The aim was recycling of the material for the manufacture of furniture and utensils. I chose another angle because at the same time there was a debate in the media about human recycling, organ donation and organ brokers. What I wondered about was whether we would be able to recycle knowledge and experiences in the future by means of brain transplants – how much a life was worth and to whom, since people in poorer countries might consider selling their own organs, or the organs of some family member in order to be able to survive for a while more on the earth.

The title of the exhibition was "Futurniture" and it was shown in Gallery Doktor Glas [sic] in Stockholm.
