Studio Johan Ström Artwork & Design works with good design, like brand building and communicative tools. We have had the good fortune to have been allowed to work with interesting and persevering clients who have been open to unconventional ways of communicating. Together with them we have worked on the establishment of several brands. The task has been to work on defining target groups, establishing or strengthening brand names with conceptual profiling, increasing the company’s visibility by means of strategic communication as well as supporting companies in discussions concerning future positioning, and performing, in certain cases, extensive social and cultural analysis. We have even arranged brand surveys and analysed the effects of remedial measures on the public.
Johan Ferner Ström actively works on developing the possibilities of utilising artistic creative processes in companies and organisations. And he views this more and more as an interesting tool in successful communication and development. Johan was part of the working group which became the winner of the Silverägget prize [Silver Egg] in the Alternative Media category for work surrounding the project "Telefonplan – a place for creativity. Today Studio JS works with a network of designers, artists, architects and strategists within the realm of communication and culture.
